Union Station
This historic venue is within easy reach of the Westin and Sheraton hotels. It is connected via the enclosed skywalk connection. Many sites, activities, shops, and food options are here.
Greater downtown KC attractions and activities
The National WWI Museum and Memorial
Kansas City’s best local historic site, located across the street from the Westin. The Memorial has great significance this year, as it is the 100th anniversary of the Armistice (November 11th, 1918.)

The bus can be requested at the hotel lobby concierge stand, and can transport about 12 persons at a time. It operates up to 10:00 pm daily, and it will return guests to the hotel when phoned. It operates to/from the Liberty Memorial, Union Station, the Hallmark Visitors Center, and the Freight House District restaurants (ask about other locations).
The street car runs round trip from Union Station to the River Market. Riding is free, and the street car provides access to downtown, the Power & Light District, the Sprint Center, and the River Market.
